"Faster Erase Times" is the title of an article I wrote way back at the start of the computer revolution (1977 - publishd in '78). Back when EPROMs were the main fixed storage devices. EPROMs came in ceramic packages with glass lids for erasing, so you could reprogram them. And that required germacidal frequency ultaviolet lamps. A specialty item. Not something you could easily get at your local hardware store. So I wrote about them and sold kits. I sold 500.
The article is on page 90 of the March 1978 Kilobaud which is archived at Kilobaud March 1978 - Internet Archive. The magazine gives the flavor of the early days. It was mostly about hardware. There wasn't a lot.
